Kolbinger Construction LLC is a family business.
Mike Kolbinger graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a B.S. degree in Industrial Technical Studies. He has over 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Mike previously worked with William Groebner General Contractor for 25 years as the foreman and lead carpenter. During that time, Mike built dozens of new homes in many price ranges, styles, and sizes in the greater Mankato and Lake Washington areas. When Bill Groebner decided to retire in 2007, Mike and Susan believed it was the right time for Mike to start his own business.
In addition to building new homes and performing renovation and remodeling, Mike enjoys using his design and carpentry skills to build custom cabinetry and furniture.
Oscar Kolbinger works full-time with Mike on all jobs and is consulted on various business decisions for the company. Oscar has been involved with building projects of various types since he was a young boy. He now works with Mike every day and is honing his own building and carpentry skills while learning the business. Oscar plans to get his general contractor license in the future and eventually take over running the family business.
Susan Kolbinger manages the office including contracts, financial, and marketing.
